Common questions
Which languages does Saylator support?
English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, in any pair. More languages are on the way.
When can I download it?
Saylator is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
Is it free?
New users get free credits to start, and quick phrases are always free. After that you buy a pack of credits when you need one. There is no subscription.
How many credits does a translation use?
One credit for every started 150 characters of what you say: up to 150 characters uses 1 credit, 151 to 300 uses 2, and so on. A translation can be up to 1,000 characters long.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire.
Does Saylator work offline?
Quick phrases work without a connection. Translating what you say needs the internet, because the translation is made on our server.
Are my conversations stored?
We do not keep your conversations. What you say is sent to an AI service (Anthropic) to be translated. Your conversation history is kept only on your phone and you can delete it any time.
I reinstalled the app and my credits are gone. What can I do?
On iPhone, credits normally stay when you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone with a backup. If you lose credits you bought, write to support@saylator.com with the Apple transaction ID or Google Play order ID of the purchase, and we will move the unused credits to your new phone where we can verify it.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open your order history in Google Play.
How do I delete my data?
Delete your history in the app at any time; deleting the app removes everything on your phone. To delete your phone's credit records from our server, write to support@saylator.com with the Apple transaction ID or Google Play order ID of one of your purchases. Deleting them also deletes the credits.
A translation was wrong. Why?
Translations are made by AI and speech recognition can mishear, so mistakes happen. You can fix a misheard word with a tap. For medical, legal or safety matters, do not rely on Saylator alone.
